Hawaii Timeshare Beaches Covered in Waste!

Waste from a landfill in Hawaii has ended up on the beaches of Oahu. The damage is severe enough to close down beaches along Hawaii’s southwest coast until cleanup has made them safe again. The overflow from the Waimanalo gulch Landfill was caused by flood waters that occurred due to heavy rains on January 12th and 13th of this year.

The Environmental Protection Agency has begun to set in motion the beach cleanup and has ordered Waste Management Inc. to take care of all cleanup arrangements as they are the only operator for Honolulu’s landfills. Precautions will also be taken and necessary implementations will be underway to make sure that this type of contamination does not happen again.

The contamination has affected Oahu beaches that are right in front of many timeshare condominiums and other resorts. With all of these beaches closed there are sure to be many timeshare vacationers who are going to be dissatisfied with their timeshare experience. And with timeshare ownership fees in the state of Hawaii increasing this can cause a lot of timeshare owners to reconsider their ownership. For these owners there will always be Transfer America standing by ready to help them get out of their timeshare. Because no one wants to spend a vacation at a beach that you cannot even enjoy, and when you are charged your timeshare fees regardless, it may be time to start weighing your options.
